Hello, I’m Brianna the photographer and author here at Grey & Brianna. Here’s a little about me: I’m a wife and a mother of 4. I have two boys and two girls ages 8 and under, so needless to say, it’s busy around here! I am a stay home mom, homeschool mama with a passion for: homesteading, living slowly, and all things homemade.
I became interested in homesteading from a lifetime of growing up on my grandparents farm…and being a 4-H kid. Grey and I met in 2010, and both had a passion for gardening, which grew into animal husbandry, and other homestead skills after we were married in 2011. With my love for homesteading, I became a homegrown, homemade advocate, which means I share and educate people about what I have learned so far on my homesteading journey. I started this blog in 2011 to compile my research & recipes, and it has grown into so much more–a community!
I am passionate about feeding my family whole and homemade food. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, usually with a baby in tow and a toddler on the counter. Most nights, we eat a home-cooked meal of local meat, homegrown vegetables and a homemade bread or biscuit. Here on the blog, I share these healthy and simple recipes for you to enjoy with your family as well.
I am so glad you are here, and I am excited to share our homestead journey and slow living with you. Thank you for following along with me!
